A remote engineer may understand the machine software perfectly, but still needs someone on site to measure voltage, inspect an encoder, replace a component or trace a cable. A local technician may understand the field problem, but sometimes needs the OEM’s process knowledge. Combining both teams is often the fastest and lowest-cost solution.

How the collaboration works

1. The OEM shares the machine model, fault history and available drawings.
2. Farad Automation visits the customer site and completes safety checks.
3. Measurements, PLC diagnostics, photos and live video are shared securely.
4. The OEM engineer provides machine-specific guidance when required.
5. Our field team performs approved changes, tests the machine and issues a report.

This model is suitable for intermittent faults, obsolete components, communication failures, servo/encoder problems, drive replacement and software-controlled sequences. It avoids sending an overseas engineer for every service call while preserving the manufacturer’s technical control.
